T he 30th
annual reunion of the 11th ACVVC was held in Columbus, GA on August
19-23, 2015. The host hotel was the Marriott
Columbus adjacent to the Columbus Convention
and Trade Center
.
Thursday, August 20, 2015
saw the dedication of the 11th Armored
Cavalry's Memorial monument stone located in the nearby vicinity of the future
National Armor and Cavalry Museum just outside the gate on Benning Blvd at
Fort Benning. This monument to our dead was previously located at Ft. Knox.
Ky.
By all accounts,
the reunion was a great success
with over 2550 attending . If you attended
