Command Post
The M-577 is the command version of the M113. The
rear cargo area has a raised roofline to allow the crew to stand upright within the
vehicle. The M577 also carries a tent extension to increase working space and provide
sleeping quarters for the crew. These tents can be attached to each other, allowing two
vehicles to be grouped into one command post.
