Four companies have produced Jeeps over the years. They are Willys, Bantam, Ford
and Ford American General. Models begin with the Bantam Pilot Model BRC-60.
They were produced for all branches of the service. Willys turned out over 335,000
Willys MB models for World War II. Models used in Vietnam were the Willys M170 and
the Ford American-General M151.
