Little did I realize but when I got out of the Army, I became a firefighter for the Air Force and drove one of these trucks - a 530 B.

The famous Long Binh outhouse fire.  Remember, never throw lit cigarettes in the can.  Oddly enough, in 1973 I joined the Pease AFB fire department and drove the same model fire truck  as the one in the photo.  A 530B.
