K Troop's 2nd Platoon Leader, 2nd Lt. Anthony (Tony) Manfredi.  Tony is a retired Lt. Col. of the Massachusetts Army National Guard and resides on Cape Cod.  Tony positively identified himself in this photo during a telephone conversation with Bob Hersey on Aug. 6, 2008.

One of K Troop's platoon leaders.  I don't remember his platoon or his name.  He may be 3rd Plt. Leader, Lt. Sandy Mandell from Florida.  Can you identify him?

Editor's note:  Jim Lucas of Arlington, VA served with the 3rd Sq. in 1967 and '68.  In his feedback of June 6, 2005 Jim believes that this photo is not of Lt. Mandell.  He wrote, "I saw Sandy as late as 5 years ago at a Blackhorse get-to-gather near Fort Belvoir and at that time he was working in Maryland for the Border Patrol".

In October, 2007 Gary Coates K Troop medic writes that he believes that this is 2nd Platoon Leader, Lt. Manfredi.  When we are positive, we will update this page.
