This is me, Bob Hersey, burning toast for the men. This is one of the most grueling missions that I was ever on. We had road marched all night in order to get into position for our "hammer" attack and we were all operating on no sleep. One good thing, we found our mess trailer . . . the one we lost a few days earlier. Oh, did I forget to mention the VC stripped and burned it.
