Our newest cook - Spec. 5 Larry G. McDermith from Illinois. His tour of duty began on January 1, 1969. McDermitt joined K Troop just as I was leaving. He was a nice guy. I wish I had gotten to know him better. He always had a jaw full of chewing tobacco.
