The evening meal would be cooked in the morning and sent to the "L Z" (landing zone) by 12:00 noon for airlift to the field.

Re-supply preflight at Bien Hoa.  Water trailer, rations, ice, ammunition and off course - the mail, (which always traveled inside the chopper).
