member of the 11th ACVVC and resided in Monroe, Ohio. He is
survived by his wife, Anne.

To All My Brothers, It is with a heavy heart that I tell you that our Brother
"Rocky" Rothwell after a courageous battle passed away yesterday at
2:30 PM. He fought for almost four years and suffered, but always fought back
and never gave up!! He was my brother and my friend and I will miss him so
much, but I am so thankful for all the Happy Memories of have of the time we
had together as I know you all are too. Rocky was a wonderful trooper,
husband, father, and friend and I feel so lucky to have know him. It is so
hard to let him go, but I know he is no longer suffering and today he is
resting in peace. One day we will all meet him again. We spoke with Ann about
an hour ago and they had just returned from making the arrangements. She was
doing well and was Rocky when he left us. He was lucid until Thursday and
hospice made him comfortable until he left us to journey to Fiddler's Green.

News Death Notice
ROTHWELL, Larry W. "Rocky" age 63, of Monroe, passed away
Saturday afternoon at Hospice of Hamilton. He was born in Montgomery
County, Kentucky, December 16, 1945, son of Earl Gividen and Mabel
Rothwell. He was a proud Army veteran, serving in Vietnam with the 11th
Cavalry Division. Rock worked in Mobile Repair for Armco Steel, retiring
in 2002. He loved riding his Harley, and spending time with his family.
He was a member of the FOPA, and a Life Member of the VFW. Survivors
include his wife of 40 years, Delores Ann Rothwell; a son, Wayne
(Danielle) Rothwell and children Roman and Seaver; a daughter, Kathy
(David) Cmehil and children Stephanie, Brittaney and Brooklyn; a sister,
Connie (Cliff) Hembree; and a brother, Cary Ty Lawson. He was preceded
in death by his parents; and by a grandson, Gabriel Wayne Rothwell.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM Wednesday, February 11, at the
Breitenbach- McCoy-Leffler Funeral Home, officiated by Minister Jim
Kinser. Friends may call from 5 to 8 PM Tuesday at the funeral home.
Burial will follow in Butler County Memorial Park, with military honors
by the Middletown Combined Honor Guard.
