Ronald Lee Lewis, age 61, or Mountain Home, Arkansas passed away Saturday, March 13, 2010.

Ron was born September 22, 1948 in Twin Falls, Idaho to Leo and Patricia Ann York-Lewis of Mountain Home, Arkansas.

He married Linda Glazebrook on July 31, 1970 in Tulsa, Oklahoma. From 1976-2004, Ron and wife lived in Hansen, Idaho and raised four children: Ronnie Lewis, Jr. (Bobbi) of Phenix city, AL, Ben Lewis (Janice) of Altoona, Iowa, Larry Lewis (Clarisa) of Twin Falls Idaho, and Trena Martin (Billy) of Hansen, Idaho.
He is also survived by 11 grandchildren, 1 great-grandchild, 1 brother: Chris Leffler (Gladys) of Clarkridge, AR, and many cousins, nephews, and nieces.
He was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers: Alva Neal Lewis and Claude Lewis, and grandparents Lum Lewis and Ollie Allen.

Ron served 4 years, 1 month, and 16 days in the US Army from March 1968 – January 1972 including 1 year as Sgt. E-5 in the Vietnam War June 1969 – June 1970 as a member of K Troop, 11th Armored Cavalry “Blackhorse” Regiment. He was a life member of the VFW and 11th ACVVC.

Ron drove truck for 30 years, as an owner/operator for 10 years. His last two years of employment, he enjoyed working at Mountain Home Concrete.

He enjoyed fishing, hunting, and classic autos, and spending time with his family and friends.

Visitation for Mr. Lewis will be Noon to 9:00pm Wednesday at Roller Funeral Home with the family receiving friends 5:00pm to7:00pm. Funeral services will be 2:00pm Thursday in the Roller Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Jim Wallis officiating.

Burial with military honors will be in Howard Ridge Cemetery.
