We have lost one of our own.  Retired Army Sgt. 1st Class, Jim Settle of Hope Mills, North Carolina.  Jim died at the age of 75 on Wednesday, September 13, 2006 after loosing his battle with cancer.  He is survived by his Wife, Mary, sons, daughters, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Jim was known as "Top" to his men.  He served as infantry squad leader for K Troop in 1966 and 1967 on K-22.  Jim was a good friend and a frequent contributor to KTroop.com.  We will sadly miss him.

God speed Jim and our condolences to your widow and your family.
