Dear
Members of the 11th Cavalry:
This is to inform you that Ms. Lia Krenz, who for decades played host to members of the
11th Cavalry stationed in the Iron Triangle - Passau, Straubing, Regensburg and was
awarded the Regiment's Silver Spur as the first civilian and first German, has passed away
on April 26, 2005 in Passau at age 94. She had devoted a good part of her life to
friendship between Americans and Germans in the post-war decades. If you knew her and
remember her and her Christmas hospitality, please let us know by sending an e-mail to

Great job
of putting K Troop's web page together and managing it. Worked with K Troop and its
troopers many times at Xuan Loc and Quan Loi; all good experiences.

You have
one hell of a web
site. I was with the 11th
ACR-919th Eng Co,'Feb68-
Feb69' & with the 20th Eng Bg
from 'Feb69-Sep69' and then
I was drafted back for
another year in '71 and
spent it in Siagon....what a
tour...this was the only
time that I really enjoyed
VN.I reuped (like a dummy)
for a two year tour in
Germany but guess what???
they needed me back in Nam...
The US Army never try to
second guess them. But keep
on keeping on with this
website. I'll see you all in
Co.2005.You cant miss me ...I'll be the bigest and
probly the uglyest Red head
sitting at the 919th Eng
Table in the bunker
PS
Did I say your website's
really great. |
