Chicago was the site of the 23rd
Annual Reunion of the 11th
Armored Cavalry's Veterans of Vietnam and Cambodia. Held at
the Hyatt Regency O'Hare this reunion unofficially turned out about 600
members of the 11th ACVVC. Adding to the number were family and friends.
By early indications this year's reunion was a huge success.
One of K Troop's own, received the 2008 OUTSTANDING TROOPER AWARD which was
presented to Daniel
D. Stroia K Trooper, 3/11 1967 to 1968 for Exceptional Service to His 11th
Cavalry Brothers. Congratulations Dan. No one deserves this award
more.
Regrettably I was not able to attend. For those of you who did please
