I was stationed with your father at Ft. Meade, Maryland prior to our departure to RVN.
Because I was a fellow Kentuckian, I feel as though Bill and I became very close.
As a matter of fact, I rode home to Kentucky with him and his wife and two children.
If you remember this trip home just before departing for RVN, please let me know.
He was truly a great man!

I am glad and surprised to see a web page just for K troop. I went to the reunion in
New Orleans to meet some of the men my dad served with. He was in "Killer
K" in 66-67. He almost made it home. You're a great bunch of guys.
